Piezoelectric Horn

A horn that works by utilizing the inverse piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric materials is called a piezoelectric horn. The phenomenon of polarization of dielectric materials (such as quartz, potassium sodium tartrate, and other crystals) under pressure, resulting in a potential difference between the two surfaces, is called the "piezoelectric effect". Its inverse effect, which means that the dielectric placed in an electric field undergoes elastic deformation, is called the "inverse piezoelectric effect" or "electrostriction.".
